To be made in Iran or not to be?

If you import rugs from Iran to countries like the US, the UK, or other European countries, you may encounter limitations due to American embargoes. You need to make extra efforts to ensure that the documents related to the cargo, such as the certificate of origin, bill of lading, invoice, and packing list, do not indicate that the rugs were made in Iran or by an Iranian manufacturer. Failure to do so may lead to serious customs clearance issues.

Fortunately, Shahrokh Carpet Company can help you overcome this problem. We work with a reliable shipping agency to cross-stuff the cargo and switch the bill of lading to the name of another company in the UAE. The invoice, packing list, and certificate of origin will then be issued in the name of the same company on its letterhead. Additionally, the labels on the carpet backing will not have any Persian words or references to the Iranian manufacturer.
